Keselowski declines offer for Penske Cup ride in '09
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jim Utter / The Charlotte Observer
JR Motorsports' Nationwide Series star Brad Keselowski has declined an opportunity to move to the Sprint Cup Series next season with Penske Racing, The Charlotte Observer and ThatsRacin.com have learned.
Keselowski, who won his second race of the season Friday night at Bristol Motor Speedway, spent last Tuesday visiting the Penske shop, where he met members of the organization and was offered the chance to drive the team's No. 12 Dodges next season, several sources confirmed Saturday.

Man I am sorry I missed that one . I would have posted it before. If it was already posted sorry.
I think this kid has a little more time in the Nationwide. Atleast to win a championship before the cross over.

Ya I have a feeling hes already been promised the 5 part time in 2009 and full time in 2010 because if I remember correctly Mark Martin was signed for 2 years. One full time and one part time driver.

Yeah I think that Brad knows he will probably be in the 5 with Mark in 2010 and in the 5 full time 2011 in top tier material, with a team that is consistently one of, if not the best in Nascar. No offense to Penske but HMS is head and shoulders above them in producing Championships and wins.

Lol ok ok you're all happy. I just think it was a smart choice penske is falling down right behind ganassi. And if you look at all the drivers who's contracts are up next year there will be a heck of a lot of good seats open next year but he'll have a lot of competition as well so good luck Brad... Hope you make it just remember opportunities don't come around every day...
