How the chase was won, or lost

Entering Talladega, Jimmie Johnson holds a 10 point lead over Carl Edwards, and a 30 point lead over Greg Biffle. On lap 173, Carl Edwards bump-drafts Biffle, spins his teammate into Matt Kenseth and triggers a wreck that wipes out half the chase field. Johnson would then leave Talladega with a 72 point lead over Edwards, a margin Edwards would not be able to overcome.
Edwards would follow this rookie-like mistake with a mechanical failure at Charlotte and Johnson would continue his steady champion-like consistency all the way to his third championship, defeating Edwards by 69 points.

I still don't blame what happened at Dega all on Carl People were bump drafting in the corners all day. Stewart got pushed in the corners alot of the final laps (I know Smoke is different since hes the best). Aric Almrola a rookie got pushed in the corner. So did Regan Smith. Why couldn't Biffle hang on to it
