For those of you missing your VLP Club, players, prizes, and drivers, there is good news. VLP Club's rebirth is currently being worked on, and hopefully, sooner than later, we will have our VLP Club back, better than ever.

Until that time, please come join your fellow VLP Club players on our affiliate poker site. Here's the link to sign up: http://games.nlop.com/Registration.ehtml?mchID=21910456

The Players Club (www.theplayersclub.ning.com), is doing everything it can to keep the VLP Club members together, and playing on software that's familiar and comfortable for us all until VLP Club can get back on its feet.

Y'all come join us.....bigger and better things are coming. smiley

Race Fans Get A New Poker Site

VLP may be gone, but The Players Club plays on. Many of you already know, but for those of you that don't, we have become an affiliate with NLOP (National League Of Poker), and have our own "branded" interface with them.

If you wish to play free poker with race fans and win race related prizes, The Players Club is for you. All you have to do is go to http://theplayersclub.ning.com and sign up. It is quick, free, and a wonderful community of race and poker fans. Once you are signed up to The Players Club you will find the link in the forums to join our new poker site. We will be holding prize tournaments including but not limited to race tickets, race memorabilia, cash prizes etc.

Get back in touch with all your VLP friends and lets get back to the tables!

Hope to see you there!

VLP done?!

Well, it looks like VLP is done. They have no more paying members and havent had new prizes all week. The prizes that were on their website that were going to be the next bunch of prizes are now gone from the site. Dalejr.com doesn't have a link to it anymore either.

Sad, it was a fun site and I enjoyed wining stuff. smiley

I hope I'm wrong and it comes back but I dont think so.

What is Going On with VLP?

Hi, anyone got the skinny on what's up with VLP lately?

No prize games since Saturday. (The noon, 5, 7, 11, etc. prize games)

Someone playing the other day claimed to be a friend of someone who works there and said the site was going to close down because of not enough paid members etc.

I thought we might see an email explanation or something here after the holiday weekend but nothing so far, that I can find.

Thanks!

Prelude, Poker and Passes - Race Fans Have Chance to Win Behind-the-Scenes Access at Prelude to the Dream

Victory Lane Players Club (www.VLPClub.net) launched the Prelude to the Dream tournament series today, where one lucky fan and their guest will win behind the scenes access at the Prelude to the Dream event at Eldora Speedway on June 4, 2008. This premier prize experience includes tickets to the race, pre-race guided pit tour, access to the driver’s media session, a $1,500 travel voucher and a meet and greet with Tony Stewart.

This exciting prize package is only being offered at Victory Lane Players Club, an interactive poker site that Stewart is a part of. Players will qualify for the grand prize Prelude to the Dream final table on May 18th. Members can also play in additional prize tournaments running daily featuring autographed helmets, VLP Club apparel, autographed Aces, and other one-of-a-kind merchandise only available at VLP Club.

“This is one of the coolest sites that I’ve seen for the fans,” said Stewart. “I’ve been playing poker online for years and have a lot of experience on other websites, but there is nothing like this out there from a fan experience standpoint.”

VLPClub.net offers free online poker for players of all levels. No money can be wagered or lost on the site and all tournaments are played for points with the chance to win VLP Club merchandise autographed by the VLP Club drivers. Fans who want a full-access membership can pay $20 per month to gain VIP access which includes the opportunity to play in online tournaments live with the drivers.

“I’ve played in a number of tournaments against the fans since we launched,” said Stewart, the first VLP Club driver to notch three tournament wins on the site. “The coolest thing about the tournaments is the chat feature, there’s no other site that you can play poker and talk racing at the same time.”

For those not lucky enough to grab a seat for the dirt late-model race, HBO Pay-Per-View will present the event live to the entire nation. Proceeds from this telecast will support construction of Victory Junction Gang Camp II in Kansas City, as well as the Tony Stewart Foundation.

VLP Club Offers Race Fans VIP Race Weekend Prize Package with Elliott Sadler

Race fans across the country have the chance to be Elliott Sadler's VIP Guest at Bristol Motor Speedway as part of the Bristol Bash Tournament Series at Victory Lane Players Club (www.VLPClub.net). Beginning April 14th and running through July 6th, race fans will have an opportunity to play Texas Hold'em for a chance to visit Bristol Motor Speedway in style. Sadler is inviting the Bristol Bash Tournament winner and their guest to watch the excitement of the high-banked half-mile and sit high above the track as a personal guest in his private suite. The fans will also enjoy a private meet and greet with Sadler in his personal motorcoach prior to the start of the race.

"I love Bristol Motor Speedway," stated Sadler. "I bought a suite there this year for my friends and family and I thought it would be a great idea to offer a member of VLPClub.net an opportunity to attend the race as my special guest. The Bristol night race in August is one of my favorite races of the year and it's one of the best experiences a NASCAR fan can enjoy."

The new Bristol Bash Tournament Series on VLPClub.net will feature a number of new prizes, more tournaments and a newly redesigned website in addition to the grand prize weekend with Sadler. Race fans will also have the opportunity to win daily prizes autographed by Dale Jr., Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, Dale Jarrett, Jamie McMurray and Elliott Sadler.

Fans can log onto VLPClub.net and play for free anytime during the Bristol Bash Tournament Series. Weekly tournament winners will qualify for the grand prize weekend with additional prize tournaments running daily and featuring autographed helmets, VLP Club apparel, Dale Jr. Online gift cards, autographed Aces and other one-of-a-kind merchandise only available at VLP Club.
