Hey everyone.... my grandfather, Angelo, is 84 years old and in the ICU with pneumonia. We were told that he should not have recovered as well as he did four years ago when he had a stroke, but he was a trooper and got back to some kind of normalcy. At this time he is breathing with the use of 60% O2 and would not be breathing so well otherwise... It is all in God's hands, and I can only hope that he does not suffer. It killed me to see tears in hi eyes when I told him I would be back in the morning. This man has been my father figure, and the mold for what I hope to find in a husband someday. Men like him are few and far between... Hard-working, honest, fun-loving, gentle, loyal- I could go on and on. Thanks for your time!

Hey Everyone..I talked to Debbie tonight on the phone. She and her Mom are doing better. Debbie has been very busy helping her Mom.. Debbie isnt real sure when she will get home.. I have had tons of comments left on my page and I have told Debbie about each and everyone of them. She misses IP very much..and sends her love to everyone. I also wanted to let you know that Debbie has a birthday on Sept 1st. Thought you might want to wish Debbie a happy birthday...so here's mine..

I received word tonight that a retired railroad friend of mine has been in the hospital the past week. he had a mild heart attack,and they performed a triple bypass on him. he still has to have carotid artery surgery, as there is 60% blockage. but they are letting him recover from this first.

I am asking for prayer for him, that God will place His healing touch on him,

he's a good friend of mine, I am also praying for his wife and family,that they will be strong during his recovery.

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AP) -- Floodwaters surged across southern Haiti today and forced hundreds of people from their homes in the wake of Hurricane Gustav, which killed at least three people before weakening to a tropical storm and creeping toward Cuba.

The National Hurricane Center in Miami says the storm could regain hurricane strength soon and forecasts suggested it could head toward the U.S. Gulf Coast as a dangerous Category 3 hurricane next week.

Gustav's maximum sustained winds were near 60 miles-per-hour this morning, with higher gusts. The storm was centered about 90 miles west of Port-au-Prince and was moving toward the northwest.

Forecasters say Gustav could become a Category 2 hurricane with winds topping 96 miles-per-hour tomorrow as it moves between Cuba and Jamaica. The long-term forecast projected winds of 120 miles-per-hour by the weekend.
And I pray it doesn't come here to Florida , so I myself will keep my prays on N.C. and the rest of bad weather in the US . God Bless .

Greg (gregracefan) is currently hospitalized at this time. Doctor's are unsure of the problem, & he will be going through extensive testing later today. As of now, they are looking into a possible heart condition. All of our thoughts & prayers go out to him, his wife Jennifer, his 2 twin sons, 2 twin girls, & extended family. We miss you & pray with all our hearts that you'll be home with your family tonight. If you all could please pray for Greg and his family we would greatly appreciate it.

Hey Everyone,
I'm sorry to tell all but miss Jada is back in the hospital in heart failure at childrens hospital of philly!! I got Medivac by Helicopter on Monday afternoon!! She is in stable condition right know but this is some serious stuff!! All the doctors can not figure out how this happened or why they are testing her for everything!! She was sick last week with what we thought was a stomach bug you know the typical voimting but no fever just couldn't keep anything down we went to the local hospital last monday nite they checked her out and sent us home she wasn't getting anybetter by wednesday went back to the hospital did more test sent us home! she started to hold food down and seemed to be getting better but by the weekend she started to take a turn for the worse and by Monday we were back at the hospital and thats when they finally took a chest xray and said that her heart was enlarged which it wasn't it was fluid in the pericardium sac that surrounds the heart!! They called CHOP and they sent the Chopper to come and get me and Jada, Dino drove down to the hospital to follow us. They took 400 cc of fluid off her chest when we got there then thru the night she started to get worse so they took more fluid 70cc her heart rate is in the 170 and pulse ox is in the high 80s to low 90s which it should be 100 to 96 no lower than that heart rate should be 80 to maybe 120!! All together they took 16 ounces of fluid off of her chest in total!! she was getting worse thru out the day and started to turn blueish lips were total blue!!! and she was combative!! They rushed her to ICU and started working on her to get her stable the long and the short of it is Heart Failure could be caused by a virus call Mylocarditist not popular in peds but this is Jada we are talking about and nothing is ever normal with her!! They need to keep her stable tonight and tomorrow if she makes it thru the night with no problems!! they are going to do a cath procedure to take a tissue sample and to see if there is a blockage in the coronary arteries because one side of her heart is beating normal but the other side is not working!! They don't know if this is related to the ASD repair back in July!! I will try and keep you all up to date with her status!! This is really serious cause they asked us about life support and the bad talk that no one wants to take about if her heart stops they want to know how to proceed with medical treatment!! Do they aggressively treat her to start the heart up again or try but if she doesn't respond stop!! So if you could please pray for my baby girl I would greatly appreciate it!! I'm sorry that I had to email you but I know how much you prayed for her the last time and how much you care about my baby girl!! Thanks for all the love and support!! Hugs Jodi & Jada!!
