Yes...I believe this is the week that Kasey is going to turn his "game" around. It's
time to make it count and get back into the chase!! Good luck to all of the drivers
and I hope all have a safe run.

Things have been changing with me lately....I have lost a total of 75 pounds and
the doctors are very pleased. The only thing they are not happy about is that with
the weight loss, my blood pressure and heart rate should also be lower, and they
aren't. I have an appointment with with the doctor in Birmingham next Tuesday
morning to discuss this problem and see what can be done next to help it. Please
continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers...I'm not out of the woods yet. I
appreciate each and everyone of my friends here on Infield Parking and consider
each and everyone of you a part of my family. Thank you so much for your
concerns and I will keep you informed (or Diana...Mattyk...will). Love to all.

Hello there my good friends...I'm back again today (with Mattyk's help) to wish
each and every driver a safe and prosperous run at Watkins Glen. Good luck to
all...!! I have had a couple of rough days and nights this week...and last night was
one of them. I will be chilling on the sofa today while watching the race. My blood
pressure is still elevated and I get a little discouraged sometimes because I can't
do what I really want to...lol. I spend all of my time resting and reading.....and
racing....the three R's!! lol Not a bad combination I guess. Please keep me in
your thoughts and prayers and keep the cards coming...I look forward to them so

Hi there....just wanted to stop by and say...."I hope you have a wonderful week"! My last doctor's visit to Birmingham was a little bit more promising....my heart is trying to heal on its own. It was down to 20% capacity, and has increased to 40%. The doctors are amazed and all they did is change up my blood pressure meds. I continue to run increased levels of blood pressure so they are trying to get it down to an acceptible level. I get really tired very easily but I have lost a total of 55 pounds and that's good. Diana (Mattyk) is still doing my posting for me, but I do manage to approve all of my comments and I appreciate everyone of them. Thanks to all of the friends who have sent me books, magazines and art supplies so that I can keep myself busy while just sitting around. Please continue to give me your prayers and I love each of you so much. God bless you. ~ Ashley ~

At least that's what I will be hoping when the race starts at the Brickyard. It
should be a really good race!!! Good luck to all of the drivers for a safe run.

I go to Birmingham again this coming Monday for another test on my heart to
see where we stand now. My blood pressure is still higher than the doctor's want
it to be, but they have let me start driving some....once or twice a week with short
trips. It really makes me tired. I still use oxygen when I sleep at night and some-
times during the day because I get short of breath. I will let you know more after
next week.

I would like to thank you for your prayers and your support and for the many cards
I receive each week...they mean so much to me. Some of them have even had
autographed pictures of Kasey....I love them!! I still can not do much so I get bored
very easily! lol If you have any coloring books and crayons or colored pencils or
whatever laying around the house....I would love to have you send them to me. I
love to draw or color...it occupies my time. And, of course, magazines help too.

thank you my horses are my life. they are the best. i have my first jumping show in a few weeks i will be sure to get lots of pictures and post them. i am jumping my friends horse, my first time ever riding him and showing him and first time ever jumping in a show i can't wait
